The push for new vaccines, especially when fast-tracked, should give everyone pause. Scripture warns of deception in the last days (Matthew 24:4-5), and modern history has demonstrated how fear can be used to justify drastic measures. The bird flu outbreak, while serious, may serve as another catalyst for expanding government oversight and paving the way for greater dependence on state-controlled food supplies. As believers, we must be discerning about what is truly necessary and what may be laying the groundwork for further restrictions on personal freedoms.
God’s Word reminds us that He is our ultimate provider (Matthew 6:26), and while it is wise to take precautions, we should be wary of any system that consolidates power under the guise of safety. We should stay informed and prayerful as world governments continue making decisions that could impact personal liberties and the ability to provide for one's family.
