The portrayal of a utopian Gaza with wealth raining down and people dancing ignores the deeper spiritual realities at play in the Middle East, namely, the unending conflict rooted in rebellion against God and His plans for Israel.

This mirrors the kind of societal transformation seen in the days of Noah and Lot, where immorality flourished before judgment came (Luke 17:26-30).
