A new Oxford study has revealed a troubling connection between sex-change surgeries and increased risks of suicidal ideation and depression. While activists promote gender reassignment as a solution for those struggling with gender dysphoria, the data suggests the opposite, it often leads to deeper mental health crises. This aligns with biblical truth, which teaches that rejecting God's design leads to destruction (Romans 1:26-27). The world preaches that people can redefine themselves, but Scripture affirms that true peace can only be found in Christ (John 14:27).
This growing deception is not just an attack on individuals but an assault on God's created order. The enemy seeks to distort identity, causing confusion and brokenness. Society encourages rebellion against God’s design, falsely claiming that happiness can be achieved through drastic surgical alterations. Yet, instead of wholeness, many find only despair. Proverbs 14:12 warns, "There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." The pursuit of self-made identity apart from God leads only to pain.
Christians must boldly stand for truth while offering compassion. Those struggling with gender confusion need to hear the gospel, not encouragement toward irreversible harm. The church cannot remain silent as lives are destroyed by lies. We must share the love of Christ, pointing people toward the true healing found in surrendering to God’s perfect design. READ MORE
