Biohacking vs. Biblical Immortality

A recent Telegraph article explores how the super-rich are turning to biohacking in a desperate bid to extend their lives through advanced medical and technological interventions. While these wealthy elites invest in the latest innovations to cheat death, a biblical worldview reminds us that true immortality cannot be bought or engineered. Eternal life is a divine gift granted only through Christ, not through human ingenuity.


The allure of biohacking reflects society’s growing obsession with self-reliance and the illusion that technology can overcome our natural limits. Scripture warns against placing hope in earthly treasures and human inventions (Matthew 6:19-21). Instead of chasing temporary fixes, believers are called to seek the everlasting life promised by Jesus, whose resurrection offers hope beyond the confines of our mortal bodies.


In the face of these high-tech pursuits, Christians must remain anchored in the eternal truth of God’s Word. While science may offer fleeting advancements, the promise of eternal life and resurrection remains the true source of hope.
